Our FREE Home Hardening Program helps Mariposa County residents strengthen their home to withstand wildfire. Homeowners receive a professional assessment and assistance with practical upgrades that reduce the likelihood of home ignition during a wildfire, including vent screen upgrades. Guidance on defensible space and Zone 0 practices is tailored to each home assessed. Our consultants are trained by CAL FIRE and UC Cooperative Extension, ensuring that recommendations reflect the latest wildfire science to help protect your home and property.
